Testosterone (Total and Free)

Total testosterone, SHBG and albumin, with free testosterone calculated from all three. The calculated figure is closer to what most people are actually asking about when they ask about testosterone, because it reflects how much is available rather than how much is present.

Timing

Take between 7am and 10am, fasted. Testosterone falls through the day, so a later sample reads lower.

The morning window matters and so does the fast. Glucose is the only marker we sell that is invalid unfasted, so if you cannot fast, keep the early slot and take it anyway.
